What is my HCCC username and password?
I'm a new student of HCCC. What is my username and password for access to computer/WiFi/MyHudson/Canvas?
Answer
The HCCC username for students is the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last four numbers of your student ID number.
Example: John Smith
ID #: 0123456
Username: jsmith3456@live.hccc.edu
About password:
1. Claim Your Identity. New users need to claim their account on My Access and set a password to receive email and log into HCCC systems.

Click the "Claim Your Identity" Link.

Enter your identifying information: Legal First Name, Legal Last Name, ID Number (you can view this in Liberty Link), and Date of Birth. Check the box "I'm not a robot" then click Submit.
ITS has provided a Step-by-Step Guide on how to claim your identity.
2. Once your identity is claimed, follow these steps to update your account recovery information:
- From My Profile, Profile tab, enter your Recovery Phone or Recovery Email. When done, click Submit.

To activate that contact method, you must enter a verification code from your phone/email.
